BACK FROM NORTH FLORIDA, WPBFR ASST. CHIEF BLOOMFIELD TO SHARE INSIGHTS FROM HURRICANE MICHAEL
The City of West Palm Beach has deployed a total of 31 employees from WPBFR, Public Utilities, and Fleet to North Florida to provide support in the areas of preparedness, rescue and recovery.
WHO:                   West Palm Beach Fire Rescue (WPBFR) Asst. Chief Brent Bloomfield, who is also the City of West Palm Beach Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Manager
WHAT:                 WPBFR Asst. Chief Brent Bloomfield has just returned from the state EOC and hurricane ravaged Florida Panhandle, where he spent time with Urban Search and Rescue teams in Panama City. Chief will speak about his experience working as a liaison inside the state EOC and share insights and lessons learned about preparedness, response and recovery in the wake of Hurricane Michael.
