Administrative Assistant: Supervisor of the Administrative Group. Responsible for managing the workload. Works closely with Senior Project Engineers to review their requirements. Sets work priorities and makes assignments among the Administrative Group. Ensures tasks are completed in a timely manner. Undertakes special projects in support of the department.
Secretaries: perform a wide variety of secretarial and clerical functions for one or more managers or the staff, following established procedures and practices. They schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and may take meeting minutes. They prepare budgetary information and keep appropriate records. They prepare reports, compose, type and edit a variety of correspondence. They prepare purchase orders and maintain inventories of office supplies and materials. They set up and maintain manual and electronic files and filing systems.
Clerical Assistant: provides administrative support to the work units of the Department. They draft and prepare correspondence, memos and record entries. They review reports, paperwork and other information for completeness and accuracy and make corrections as appropriate. They maintain both computerized and manual data files and may perform data entry of information into computer files.
