Construction Planning: Call Public Utilities, 494-1040. Ask for a Project Coordinator.
Project Coordinators work with developers, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful planning and completion of construction projects undertaken within the City. They review construction plans and specifications for accuracy, completeness and conformance to applicable Federal, State, County and City laws, codes, ordinances and regulations in the areas of water lines, sanitary lines, storm lines and all portions of road construction (sidewalks, streets, irrigation, landscaping, street lights).

Fences or Walls: Installing a fence or building a wall around your property ? A building permit is required. Call Construction Services at 494-1040 for information. You may start the process online. Go to the City web page at http://www.excitingcity.com/city_main.htm , click on the “one stop shop,” and then on “permits.” Click on “permit application,” then download the forms provided. Fill out the application and deliver it, along with applicable fees, in person, to City Hall, Construction Services; 200, 2 nd Street , 3 rd floor, West Palm Beach , Florida 33401 .

Graphic Information System (GIS): Public Utilities, 494-1040 (CAD Unit) provides assistance in locating public utilities in relation to your property. Additionally, there is a host of information available through the GIS system. You may access this system yourself by going to www.wpbgis.com . There you will find the maps that are used for such diverse functions as infrastructure management, concurrency planning, inventory control, environmental planning and management, development regulations, taxation and response to emergencies. You may find it interesting to examine the information available on your property. Should you encounter difficulties interpreting data or need further assistance please call the above number. Mayor's Response Team: Mayor Frankel has established an on-call team to quickly respond to the needs of citizens and guest who call in with requests for assistance, complaints, or informational needs. The MAYOR'S RESPONSE TEAM (“MRT”) 822-1402 is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. , Monday through Friday. (The answering machine will record your concerns during non-business hours).
MRT responds to citizen requests and concerns for assistance, relays requests to the Mayor, and provides information to callers.
If you have a question or a problem with a specific department, please try to resolve your issue with that Department or Division. If you need additional assistance, call MRT for help. Real Property: (494-1040) From time to time, the City comes into ownership of various properties that are in excess of City needs. These properties are made available for sale to the general public. City owned real property, when available, is advertised in the local news papers.

Survey Service: Call Public Utilities, 494-1040, Surveyor/Real Estate Supervisor. The City Surveyor/Real Estate Supervisor is responsible for verifying the accuracy of all surveys and plats submitted to the City for review by developers and individuals seeking to undertake private construction projects. He ensures these drawings comply with State regulations and City ordinances. He is a member of the Plan and Plat Review Committee (PPRC), which reviews plans for new development. He is also called upon to review water and sewer development plans.

Friday Zone # 5 Southern Blvd. to City line West of Olive Ave.
Residue should be stacked neatly at the curb. The following limitations apply: Tree trunks may not exceed 12 inches in diameter and 3 Ft. in length, tree branches should be no more than 4 to 6 feet in length, grass and weeds must be bagged. There is a ten-yard limit on yard waste piles and there may be no more than one pile per home per week. Note : The City does not collect yard waste left by landscape and lawn service companies. Service companies are responsible for the removal of all debris and trimmings from the property.
