Meters
Bagging of meters is required when closing a street or reserving parking spaces that have existing
meters. These services are provided by the Parking Enforcement Department. All meters are enforced Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

If a parking meter has a "No Parking" meter bag, any vehicle parked at such meter will be given a $27.00 citation and may be subject to towing. Meters with a "Permit Parking" bag are used for all event promoter parking needs. Each vehicle parked at these bags must display a parking pass on its dashboard. If the pass is not displayed, a $27.00 citation will be given to that vehicle and is subject to towing. All event promoters are responsible for providing passes for their event parking. A copy of the pass and a map stating all meters to be bagged must be submitted to the Community Events Division 14 days before the event. There are restrictions to when certain meters may be bagged in the
City.
Cost
If an employee must bag or remove bags during non-working hours the event promoter will be billed for a minimum of three hours overtime per employee to provide these services. Meters may be subject to rental fees.
