COMMUNITY EVENTS ON-CALL
Employees required to be on “stand by” shall be compensated at the rate of $16.00/24 hour day, Sunday- Saturday, including holidays. If the employee fails to respond within 30 minutes to a stand by call, the employee shall forfeit the $16 stand by pay. Employee on “stand by” and actually called out shall receive overtime pay at the rate of one and one half times his/her base pay for actual time worked and shall be guaranteed a minimum of two and one half hours of pay at said rate. Employees not on stand by, but who are called out, shall be paid at the rate of one and one half time his/her base rate of pay for actual time worked, and shall be guaranteed a minimum of two and one half hours of pay at said rate. |
