Kaleidoscope 2004 Award Winners Announced

Kaleidoscope 2004, produced by the City of West Palm Beach, is a celebration of many cultures featuring more than a dozen cultural “villages” created through partnerships with local cultural organizations and Palm Beach County public schools. Experience multi-cultural dance, music, food, architecture, art, crafts and cultural customs through interactive hands-on activities from countries around the world.

Villages from Around the World

Visit 21 life-sized cultural villages and discover the art, architecture, music, dance, traditional dress and food of countries near and far. Representatives from local cultural organizations team with local students from Palm Beach County public schools to present each unique village.

  Taste of the Nations

Spice up your life and try exotic foods from far and near.
Visit our International Beer & Wine Garden.

 

 Children’s Activity Area

Enjoy professional storytellers, international arts, hands-on crafts, and traditional games from around the world. Story weavers from around the world will capture the imagination of children and adults alike.

 

 International Shopping Bazaar

Shop for authentic crafts and gifts from around the world.

from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location:

Downtown West Palm Beach at the foot of Clematis Street in Centennial Square and the East Library Grounds.

Admission:

FREE & open to the public.

Attendance:

More than 20,000 people are expected to attend.

Prizes:

Schools & cultural groups compete for a total of $2,750 in prizes.
