Map of the Local Flood Hazards

The areas designated as “A Zones” (those starting with the letter A) are considered to be within the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA).  However, residents outside of the SFHA should take note of the property protection measures and flood safety information since floods can still occur in their areas.  To view an interactive map of the Flood Zones within the City, please go to the City's GIS system at http://www.wpbgis.com.

Some of properties within the City of West Palm Beach located within the “Special Flood Hazard Area” may be vulnerable to flooding during storms with heavy rains and/or east winds. To find out whether you live in a Flood Zone contact the Construction Services Department at (561) 805-6705.
